About Us
Home of Chamber and the Mount Dora Visitor Center, in 2015, The Mount Dora Historic Train Depot celebrated its 100 year anniversary! That same year, a magnificent restoration was completed through the greatly appreciated generosity of The Mount Dora Community Trust. With a new tin roof, high exposed beam ceilings, warm and beautiful heart of pine flooring, and the re-creation of the old wooden sliding doors to the platform, the historic depot has been transformed into a breathtaking site.
It is the perfect setting for glamorous, intimate parties such as weddings, anniversaries and birthdays, yet at the same time it is the perfect facility for business meetings and corporate functions. The historic depot can seat up to 84 people, with tables and chairs included. Also included is the beautiful brick patio leading up to the depot, adorned with personalized red bricks memorializing those who love the beautiful city of Mount Dora.
Partner Rates and Non-Partner Rates differ. 3 hour minimum rental. Full day rates available.
