Description
Learn all about the different types of wine and how to identify the palette of flavors paired with fine cuisine in this 5-course wine dinner. The menu features wines from different regions of the West such as Monterey County, Russian River Valley, Willamette Valley, and Mount Veeder located in California's North Coast. Don't miss out on this wine and food experience located in the Historic Mount Dora Train Depot.

Arrival Wine: Kendall Jackson Avant Chardonnay - California
Dish: Tempura Shrimp with mango-pineapple slaw, scallions, and sweet chili sauce in a parmesan cup
(1st) First Course: WillaKenzie Estate Chardonnay - Willamette Valley, OR
Dish: Frise Salad topped with lemon-garlic-thyme chicken thighs, candied cashews, goat cheese crostini with blueberry-lemon vinaigrette
(2nd) Second Course: La Crema Monterey Chardonnay – Monterey, CA
Dish: Blacked Salmon stuffed with cream cheese, spinach, and prosciutto with chimichurri beurre blanc, sautéed asparagus, julienne red and green peppers
(3rd) Third Course: Hartford Court Chardonnay – Russian River Valley, CA
Dish: Bacon Wrapped Scallops over creamy dill bucatini pasta with cherry tomatoes, butternut squash and white onion diced, roasted and sautéed. Topped with turmeric crostini.
(4th) Fourth Course: Gran Moraine Pinot Noir - Willamette Valley, OR
Dish: Rack of Lamb on a bed of fontina purple mash with sage red wine demi and bacon balsamic brussels sprouts
(5th) Fifth Course: Mt. Brave Cabernet Sauvignon - California North Coast, Mount Veeder, Napa
Dish: German Chocolate Cake with dark chocolate mousse. Dusted with espresso and topped with candied coffee pecans
